Autumn | ♥

Image
Now, I mentioned in my recent post that I'm a huuuuge lover of Autumn time, watching the leaves change colour and the days get shorter. So I decided to grab some friends and head down to the park to do an autumnal photo shoot.  Of course my main model Harriet had to come, and we were also joined by Joe who became my model for the day too. Luckily they're stylish people anyway and wore things that looked perfect for an autumnal shoot, so that made my life a lot easier. At the time of doing this shoot, I felt that autumn hadn't quite fully kicked in, but I tried to work with that to stick to my theme. Another way to make these images look more autumnal was to manipulate them, and that's exactly what I did. But this time, instead of using Photoshop on my laptop, I decided to try out Photoshop Express on my iPad. I did this so I could see what this app could do for me and in my opinion, it's amazing... It gives you already made edits, as well as the usual Photosh...

Photo-shoot at the park | ♥

Summer this year in the UK was quite a hot one, so many days were spent by the river, at the park, or somewhere we could enjoy the weather. But now it's goodbye Summer and hellooooooo Autumn, which I'm rather excited about.  I love Autumn/Winter time, seeing the leaves go brown and crispy, feeling cosy on the sofa with a warm jumper, slippers and a bit of X-Factor or Strictly Come Dancing on the telly. We had quite an eventful Summer all of us, we lost some friends (they didn't die, they just drifted away..) and we also gained some friends, shoutout to Charley and Becca, hey gals! There were also a few arguments which were very exciting, but we also had some really nice days out together. Many days were spent at the park, relaxing in the sun, chatting to each other and playing many different games. We're a bunch that can make something interesting and exciting out of absolutely nothing, as we usually just sit there on our phones. We got physical at some parts, pla...

Very.co.uk Tanya Burr edit launch | ♥

Image
Very.co.uk were running a competition via The Blogger Programme, where you had to create a blogpost that explained your favourite beauty products that are available on the Very website. (That blog post is  here  I was going to delete it but hey ho, why not keep the winning piece?) I then had to explain why I'd like to meet Tanya Burr (which is also in that post, WARNING: contains extremely cringy words from me!!). Baring in mind I finished this at night, I was pretty darn chuffed that I won. I didn't mean to finish it so late but I'd only just found out about it. Anyway, I won - probably the first important thing ever! Me and Rachel didn't know what to expect when we arrived to this event, as it was pretty obvious that we weren't proper bloggers and weren't in the press etc. we were just two girls who are fans of Tanya! The whole experience was so different for us, from walking into the very expensive looking hotel, to seeing all of the new items of clothi...

Beach Fun | ♥

Thursday (14th August 2014) was results day for us A-levelers. I always dread this day as it reminds me of how I'm in no way smart whatsoever. Last year was an "it's okay, I've got another year to improve" kind of year, whereas this year was more "I either resit the year, or I have to start thinking of a future", and to be honest, I didn't want to do either of those options, and I still don't.  A week before results day, we were trying to figure out what to do after to 'celebrate', or drown our sorrows. As we're not the kind of people that enjoy going clubbing (apart from joe), it was either the pub or something else. So we decided on Brighton, where we could sit on the beach in the sun, top up our tans, have a few drinks, walk along the pier and just have a nice time. Although, in this case, it was more 'sit on the beach in the wind and rain, definitely not tipping up our already non-existent tans'.  To st...
