Photo-shoot at the park | ♥
Summer this year in the UK was quite a hot one, so many days were spent by the river, at the park, or somewhere we could enjoy the weather. But now it's goodbye Summer and hellooooooo Autumn, which I'm rather excited about.
I love Autumn/Winter time, seeing the leaves go brown and crispy, feeling cosy on the sofa with a warm jumper, slippers and a bit of X-Factor or Strictly Come Dancing on the telly.
We had quite an eventful Summer all of us, we lost some friends (they didn't die, they just drifted away..) and we also gained some friends, shoutout to Charley and Becca, hey gals! There were also a few arguments which were very exciting, but we also had some really nice days out together.
Many days were spent at the park, relaxing in the sun, chatting to each other and playing many different games. We're a bunch that can make something interesting and exciting out of absolutely nothing, as we usually just sit there on our phones. We got physical at some parts, playing a bit of rounders, and that tennis sort of thing where you throw the ball and the other person has to catch it on their Velcro bat, we made that into a bit of piggy in the middle, which was fun.
Harriet had a favourite game, which was Scattegories, I'm not sure if that's the right name or if we were even playing it right, but she always got us to play it which killed some time.
My personal favourite game, which needed paper so we could only play it when we had some, was Guess the Celebrity, where you wrote a name of someone well known down and had to describe who they were to your team. So much fun.
So nearer the end of Summer, we decided to do a little 'photo-shoot' at the park, as Harriet was still in her model phase, Joe and Sarah both feature once or twice in these images too.
I was quite disappointed with this photo-shoot though as the images look a bit grainy, the focus was quite right and the colouring was a bit off, but I took to Photoshop to try and sort them out the best I could, and here they are:
