Beach Fun | ♥

Thursday (14th August 2014) was results day for us A-levelers. I always dread this day as it reminds me of how I'm in no way smart whatsoever. Last year was an "it's okay, I've got another year to improve" kind of year, whereas this year was more "I either resit the year, or I have to start thinking of a future", and to be honest, I didn't want to do either of those options, and I still don't.  A week before results day, we were trying to figure out what to do after to 'celebrate', or drown our sorrows. As we're not the kind of people that enjoy going clubbing (apart from joe), it was either the pub or something else. So we decided on Brighton, where we could sit on the beach in the sun, top up our tans, have a few drinks, walk along the pier and just have a nice time. Although, in this case, it was more 'sit on the beach in the wind and rain, definitely not tipping up our already non-existent tans'.  To st...

Some of my favourite beauty products from the Very beauty selection: 1. Max Factor Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation http://www.very.co.uk/max-factor-face-finity-all-day-flawless-3-in-1-foundation/1368774152.prd I've always struggled with finding a good foundation for my skin, because it's quite oily but also it's sometimes quite dry and horrible. I've tried all sorts and now I feel like I've finally found the right one! This product is amazing, with a built in primer and also concealer as well as the foundation and amazing coverage, it manages to make my skin look flawless, as it says in the name! It also stays on all day which is so helpful.  2. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush http://www.very.co.uk/real-techniques-expert-face-brush/1384669876.prd This brush is a life saver in my opinion. Before I found out about Real Techniques (I found out about them through Tanya Burr's tutorials) I used my hands and stupid brushes that didn't hel...

Another trip to London | ♥

Image
On Tuesday the 12th of August, myself, Rachel and Joe took another trip to London. This time, our main plan was to meet Nick Grimshaw at Radio 1 as Rachel is completely in love with him, so we got up pretty early and made our way to Oxford Circus to see if we could see him. We set ourselves a time limit, as when we'd arrived we didn't know if he'd have gone or not, so we said that we'd leave at 10:30 if we don't see him. By the time it was 10:29 we still hadn't seen him, until LUCKILY, he walked out at 10:30, just seconds before we were going to leave. Grimmy is such a lovely man, he had a chat to Rachel about work experience and work and took time out of his phone call to have pictures with us :) Me & Grimmy ☺ After meeting Grimmy, we then had a look in a few shops on Oxford Street, then got the tube back to Waterloo.  Once we arrived at Waterloo, that's when I became a photographer/tourists, even though I spend a lot of my life at Southbank, I...

London is a wonderful place, and only living a half an hour train journey away from it is great. A few months ago, myself, Sabrina and Joe went to Southbank for a day to take some photos like the wannabe photographers that we are, and to chill by the river. Sadly, the weather was a bit poop on this day, as it was cloudy and quite grey and sad looking. But we carried our day on as normal.  After going to Southbank, we thought we'd take a trip over a bridge and made our way to Trafalgar Square, to take some different pictures over there too. Even though we go to Southbank and Trafalgar Square quite a lot, it's still exciting to go and take pictures, as it's so beautiful and different to the areas around where we live.  We then went for a walk down to Buckingham Palace, but go distracted on the way, so looked around that area and walked through a beautiful park. As it was getting later (and I was getting lazier - my feet hurt SO much at this point) we decided that we wouldn...
