Football edits.
So, I was a bit bored today when I was supposed to be doing some evaluations for my photography coursework, but I decided to edit some images on photoshop. I chose to edit some football pictures I have taken recently and one from a few months ago, just to see what they would look like and also to practice some photoshop techniques☺
If you feel like looking at my football images, take yourself here:☺ http://www.flickr.com/photos/-vickybrownx/sets
Here they are guys and gals:
1: This is Alan Bennett playing in the Walton Casuals v AFC Wimbledon match, I liked this image as I feel that it captured him well, so there aren't any motion blurs because of him running. So a good action shot I believe (which is good for my camera wow).
To edit this image I have used a tool that I downloaded from tumblr, this is where I can choose a colour that I want or that's in the image and then it finds everything that is that colour and makes the rest of it black and white (wow did that make sense?). I then fiddled with the brightness and contrast tool so the blue kit didn't looked too shiny and bright.
2: This image shows Jack Midson running (wow) during the Sutton United v AFC Wimbledon match, although he's not facing my way, I liked this image as it captured him whilst running, making him look clear and also how the background is blurredddddd.
I have edited this image by selecting all of Jack's body, and then selecting the inverse. I then clicked on the blur tool and picked the motion blur, this makes everything that is selected look like it's moving (like a motion hence the name). I then increased the brightness and contrast.
3: This is the same image as above, I just edited in two different ways because I tried the motion blur whilst doing this edit but felt it looked better above whey. To do this manipulation, I simply just selected the number 10, and then selected inverse to select the rest of the image, and then clicked black and white, which made it....... black and white :o. I like this effect as it shows his squad number clearly and stands out.
4: Finallyyyyy, this image is of Sammy Moore a while ago, and I can't remember who they were playing and I'm too lazy to look, apologies. I was pleased with this image after I had taken it because if you look closely, you can see that the main focus was on Sammy, and everything else had a little bit of a motion blur going on, which made me happy yay.
So, to edit this image, I selected Sammy and then clicked select inverse. I then decreased the vibrance, making the background look a bit more grey and leaving Sammy in full colour. I then, sneakily increased the motion blur of the background, just to make it look a tiny bit more effective.
Please excuse the stupid layout of images, they all messed up and I really can't be bothered to try and sort it all out again man.
Okay sorry if I bored you.
Bye
